Powder coating for large aluminium components

We powder coat large aluminium frames and assemblies in-house. Our Rüstorf facility accommodates workpieces up to 13.5 × 1.2 × 3.0 m. Finishing is planned together with manufacturing and the requirements of the final assembly.

A finish matched to your component

Tell us the required colour, gloss, texture and operating environment. Suitability is assessed during quotation. In addition to external dimensions, geometry, hanging points, weight and visible-surface requirements matter. Maximum dimensions are an initial guide, not a blanket acceptance of every part shape.

Define functional surfaces before coating

Threads, mating faces, contact points and mounting features may require masking or further operations. Mark these areas in your drawing. We agree which surfaces are to be coated and which requirements must be considered for subsequent assembly.

Machining and finishing from one source

Process coordination is particularly useful for welded aluminium frames. We combine CNC machining and welding with in-house powder coating and optional mechanical assembly. For existing customer parts, send the material, condition and dimensions so we can assess the coating request individually.

Frequently asked questions

Can you coat aluminium parts 13 metres long?

The facility accommodates workpieces up to 13.5 × 1.2 × 3.0 m. Shape, weight and hanging arrangements must also be reviewed.

Can coating be part of a manufacturing order?

Yes. CNC machining, welding, coating and assembly can be combined within one agreed manufacturing scope.
